Introduction

In mobile media computing, the development of smartphone platform with context, in terms of human interaction, high quality multimedia service under real-time operating system, ubiquitous computing and related information security.


Research Area

  1. Multiple Input and Multiple Output
    Multiple input and multiple output(MIMO) is a method for multiplying the capacity of a radio link using multiple transmit and receive antennas to exploit multipath propagation. In modern usage, “MIMO” specifically refers to a practical technique for sending and receiving more than one data signal simultaneously over the same radio channel by exploiting multipath propagation. Media type transformation is necessary to provide multiple input and multiple output contents. Contents are consist of semantic and its representations. Representation is important factor for effective sharing and transferring contents. Various representations are generalized to media types. By result of understanding semantic and transforming its media types, we can provide contents which was unserviceable originally due to the limitations of the performance of devices.



  2. Development of Smartphone Platform with Context
    Development of smartphone platform with context focuses on a new and unique framework that aware the context of the smartphone user and acquaintances in the social network.



  3. Human Computer Interaction on Mobile Media Computing
    Mobile Computing is human-computing interaction by which a computer is expected to be transported during normal usage, which allows for transmission of data, voice and video. Mobile computing involves mobile communication, mobile hardware, and mobile software. Mobile human computer interaction is one of the most important issues in practical technology today.

  4. Information Security in Ubiquitous Computing
    The goal of this research is to study and develop the security theory and technique in the mobile network. This research includes the development of the computer/network security management system, intrusion detection and response system, intruder identification software and home network security technology. Current project is to develop the home network security technology. Our approach is to make the general method to access to the home network that is composed of various wired/wireless devices and control the access.
